Показать описание
Finding dy/dx and tangents to parametric curves, as well as how to find the second derivative and determine the concavity of parametric curves. Finding the area along an axis enclosed by a parametric curve; arc length for parametric curves; surface area for a surface of revolution defined by a parametric curve revolved about either the x or y axis. All very vital information, especially for the Calculus 2 student who intends to continue to Calculus 3. #parametriccurves #mathtvwithprofessorv #calculus2 #arclength #parametricarclength #surfacearea #areasundercurves #areasunderparametriccurves #integralcalculus #parametricequations #calculus2videos #mathvideos #calculusvideos #calculushelp #math #mathvideos #mathtutor #mathprofessor

I just recently discovered your channel, and this is definitely one of the best calculus resources out there. You made me realize that what distinguishes great teachers such as yourself from the rest is that you don't skip any steps, and explain everything no matter how trivial or mundane. The main errors most profs make is that they don't realize they are talking to people who have never done this stuff, and by skipping even one trivial step which to them is obvious, makes learning for a student very difficult.
