The Black Japanese

So we all know that the first humans to settle on the Asian landmass were Africans. However, many of us don't see any modern connections between Africans and Asians today. This is because the indigenous people were constantly pushed south of Asia and are hardly given credit for the great civilizations they founded. Here is my attempt to make some of the not so obvious connections apparent to you all. Shalom!

(EDO IS NOT THE CURRENT CAPITAL OF NIGERIA, ABUJWA IS. Benin city used to be called EDO and was once the capital of the BENIN EMPIRE in pre- colonial times.)

Also please forgive me for my pronunciation. I am always learning and growing, I aspire to travel to African and spend lots of time with the local people to get more with the lingo!

Check a video by African History Fountain - it delves into language, anthropology and genetics which tie the Kingdom of Benin, in Nigeria, to Japan.

There is a clip at the end which sounds as close to the intonation within Mandarin (which shares roots with Japanese) outside of China. Mind blowing. It's called the Shang Connection, on the same channel.

Names such as Bukayo Saka sound very Japanese to most unaware people (as I was recently) although he is a footballer of Nigerian parents in England.

Thank you for this video which continues to encourage an alternate perspective on global history outside of the narrative fed by Europeans.
