This is great for people that are having problems being inspired, writers block and will make practicing not feel like practicing! I think it’s actually better to practice with this playing along to songs, scales or whatever because you will train ur ear better then looking at tabs people over the past 15 years have been learning guitar with there eyes not there ears so u don’t get that ear to finger muscle memory which making improvising and coming up with parts for songs much harder and way more time consuming because you don’t know what notes to play you can’t hear something in ur head and just play it.

Hi I just got Irig2 my problem is, there is no sound coming out from headphones output. Even if I cranked up the gain volume still no sound. The amp out got sound, the audio output to device also got sound, only the headphones output.

Hi there, I would like to know if there is too much diference in the quality output between this iRig 2 and iRig HD 2. The iRig HD says 96 kHz but no data like this appears on the iRig 2 section. Thanks

Hi, I'm having problems with the iRig 2. As soon as I plug in my headphones I get massive amounts of feedback (Gain on amps is relatively low, 12 o'clock roughly) not to mention that the FX thru switch seems to not work as no matter where it is positioned I still hear the processed tone from the iPad software. The distorted tones also have a very artificial reverberated decay to it when I palm mute (It's hard to explain in text form, I assure you that there is no reverb plug-in enabled and no reverb on the amp.) Could my iRig 2 just be faulty? Thank you :)

I have irig 2. I makes such ammount of noise. With hi gain its unnusable. I have to down the imput level a lot. The same does with the ipad volume. Any help?

I know it’s designed for guitar playing. However, I’m thinking of buying one for using it as audio interface. Will it work?

I’m having an issue playing keys while using iGrand app and using the iphone phones output (the sound cuts and is a problem in the phone output).

Can I play in iGrand app and use the iRig2 for the audio output of the piano sound?
