The problem with "civility" is the same as the problem with "equal rights" - it tends to mean sending people who have been stolen from and harmed and have to work twice as hard every day into interactions with people who have money, good luck, and lawyers, and both people have a piece of paper that says they are "equal before the law." Justice requires differentiation, not bland self serving assertions of sameness. So Jo Brand said a thing... meanwhile what Farage does materially harms thousands daily. These are not two sides in a timeless vacuum, one is reacting to a prior threat posed by Farage's racist and classist lies.
