Just had another listen to this fuckin amazing mix by a young lady, who weren't even about when these tunes were released back in the early 80's. This was my era of soul, jazz, Funk, rare groove and disco. Proper wicked tunes from a great time growing up as a late teenager. Cutting the rug at all the major clubs in London and the south east. Yes girl you have proper smashed it 🔥 🔥 🔥

I was an old school dj in the 80's, then life kicked in. ..got married had 2 kids, career, blah blah blah. This family bought the house right next to us, got to meet them a few days later. Turns out, he was a dj in the 80's too! He still has his turntables, mixer and like 2 crates of records...holy shit, my dream neighbor. After settling in he set it up in his man cave and I come over every once in a while and spin for a couple hours. ..good times man

Her dad or mom, or someone else very significant, must have really been into this music and had a huge influence on her. Everyone of those songs were smash hits from about 1980 until 1988 and I probably have the 45 for at lease half of them. The point- great music from a great time I was able to live and enjoy in clubs in NJ during my youth. Good job sister.
