I love this video! I deal with ptsd and anxiety, which makes me forget everything 🤷🏽‍♂️. I have come back here probably 15-20 times for reference. Thanks!

This has saved my sanity, my printer, and my job haha. I've found other videos out there but this one helped me the most. Thank you so much!

Sir, i applaud and thank you very much for this gem of a video. i bought myself this exact unit and ive done many prints but never been happy with the initial layer. i also found that prints were coming unstuck from the base and even bought some adhesive which worked but still unhappy with bottom layer. since following your video i have now prints with a flawless foot.

Thank-you for your guide. I am having real bad issues with the PLA adhering to the bed. Your guide makes the most sense out of all of them & I have recommended people look for your vid in my Amazon review

Holy shit THANK YOU. I've spent the last hour messing with the z offset thinking I was doing it too much and it wasn't working, only to find out I needed to crank it a lot more. Working now.

this is exactly what I was searching for. i have the kobra 2 but I'm pretty sure it's the same steps. So I assume you generally want to first run auto level, which will measure across the bed and build a map. then you home the print head, set the z axis height to zero, turn the motors off, move it in the middle and use the paper. pretty easy and way better than running test prints and randomly adjusting z offset.

great video, you should do more tutorials, very easy and right to the point, i hate videos that are like 15 minutes to explain a process that only needs 3 minutes to explain, thanks, a video explaining how tight the belts and the Z axis wheels should be would be much appreciated if you ever have the time to do it

Near this topic, wondering if you see the same thing. I got the Kobra Go with ABL. It sucks out of the box, the bed level deviation is 2-3 mm across the board, and the ABL doesn't compensate for this enough, one side will be smashing the filament and the opposite gapping. I can see the Z-axis moving, so it's running the mesh during prints, but not good enough. I got the yellow bed springs installed where the stock bed standoffs were, then did a manual bed level with the PEI spring sheet (it's not flat either, so got to measure with that sheet on), and after getting the bed flat manually, I run the ABL and see the mesh map is much better within 0.3 mm of each other. Still I'll run ABL to compensate for the middle. I did a full bed flatness test print and it is perfection everywhere I'm really impressed.

When i did the same 2 months ago it damdaged my bed with nozle becasue zero on z-axis in idling state is different from when it's printing. In idle it's higher and when i set offset and started printing it tried to go under bed. It might be just a malfunction in my case but better adjust it like it's shown in instruction - while printing. Luckily magnetic cover is double sided. That time i also set something about -4 or -5mm offset, now it's running on -1.18

Great video. But have a question. When I go back to z offset I still get a reading of 0.000. When I start the print I have to manually adjust it to the bed so it sticks. Why is this
