So appreciate all of the players taking time to do these interviews! Would have to agree that overall the interview questions were a bit generic, and in Mahmoud's case, some were pretty off-putting and took personal digs at the players, trying to get them off balance or say something controversial in response. "ABC person won a prize and you didn't. Did that get under your skin?" Dude, love you Mahmoud but ease up on those kinds of questions (your questions for Kevin were awesome). The players don't have to do this. BTW HUGE thanks to the DGPT for putting on this press conference and the whole event – kickin' off the 2021 Pro Disc Golf Tour right!! But yes, worth it to be a bit more positive and professional with the interviews next time (I'm happy to audition!). Really liked Nate's comments appreciating his family's sacrifices, life balance, and defending his title. Should be fantastic to watch!!

It’s pretty obvious to me that DGN is pro Innova. I find it interesting that nobody commented to Paul McBeth about his win at the All Star event, not even a congratulations but was quick to acknowledge Kona which was well deserved by her. Also, Paul appeared to be drilled on the negative tone of losing his #1 ranking and not being crowned player of the year. Whether you or I or anyone had a sponsor favorite let us not forget and glorify our best players - rating aside Paul still being #1 in most everyone’s opinion. I give Nate Doss a ton of credit during his commentary during the All Star event when he voiced his opinion as McBeth and Heimburg being the top two players in the world despite being an Innova guy. IMO the ratings and awards need to have better objective sense going forward if Disc Golf is going to evolve as a true pro sport which has clout (or in Paige Pierces words #FAKENEWS). BTW....Manute (cell phone question guy in the next room) - your tough questions are fair but boy did you spin your questions toward a pro Innova stance - almost comical.

I personally think that the questions by Mamude were good. These players always get doting softball questions by everyone. Interviewers are supposed to ask tough questions! Look at press conferences in other sports, the questions are rarely nice easy to answer questions.

Re: commenters bagging on the interviewer. You realize there's a person behind that voice, right? A little rough, but seriously not that bad, and everyone has to start somewhere. Also, it's not uncommon for the same—at least similar—questions to be pitched to a long slate of interviewees, and there are good reasons for that. You just normally don't hear the person ask the questions in post-produced interviews, but where this is live, that's not really possible. Class up, huckers.
