I agree with the cinnamon roll comment. I knew the cinnamon rolls were gonna come in handy with the story at the end somehow, but it didn't need to be drilled in so much all throughout the movie.

I literally kept forgetting that her name was Hannah lol. I think seven husbands is worth reading but I did think the writing was not that great at points.

Your response was spot on! Aside from your thoughts (cinnamon rolls are also disgusting), I also couldn't get past the acceptance that her parents just left her with her friend's family?? Why was everyone ok with this? Ever? Also, I didn't like the description of her as having big boobs and a top bun. I didn't care about Hannah much at all, and by the end I skimmed a lot because there was a bunch of copy-paste. Story could have been way more interesting and revelatory. Thanks for your sound review!

Daisy Jones is more love story than band story in my opinion - a very involving novel, the characters stayed with me for a long time.

You had me going, it honestly sounded like a good plot and I thought this was going to be something I would want to pick up in the future...and then, your review turns.
Props to you though, I’ve read some books where I can’t get past page 25 because it’s complete shit. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall during that book club get together!
