Unexpected error occurred while signing in installing os X El capitan help@

Need help fixing this problem if anyone can let me know that would be really cool!

Power up the Mac and hold command/option/R. It will take you to internet recovery and you can sign in to your WiFi. After that is done you can re install the most current OS Apple offers. This happened with a friends MacBook and went from El Capitan to Catalina. This option worked for me. Good luck.

Having this same error in 2021.. Everytime ive updated my desktop its been a punishment. Well my desktop has finally met its end bye bye apple computers windows is so much better. He fixed it by buying a much faster 200$ windows laptop still use to this day praise the lord

Choose settings
Name OS X El Capitan
Format APFS
Scheme GUID Partition Map

I have a 2008 MacBook Pro 16 inch and it says "403 forbidden and severs gave an error during download" while trying to install and sign into macOS Yosemite any one please help me?

I’ve the same problem on my old IMac early 2009 Desktop I’m trying to install El Capitan but I get the error can’t sign in to App Store and my browsers need to be updated I’m stuck.

same problem on my Old Mac Pro that has no Macos. i bought a SSD for it and create a installer for the usb the El captian and end up with this

I created a bootable usb key with os el capitan installation on it! it work on new macbook don't know the exact version! how to create a bootable usb with os el capitan installation just google that... not that complicated! I had to reformat the harddrive and start fresh!

All you need to do is restart the Mac then hold command R option key when you reach OS X reinstall El caption and it will skip that process

I can figure out how to fix mine, i have a 2008 imac my dad doesn’t use anymore. Everytime i try to reinstall os x capitan, i put my apple id and it says “unexpected error 403” or something. I already delete the bottom disk to the top part in disk utility so i cant even go back to my dads old profile how sad😢
