I recently bought and used the Halfday Garment bag for a week-long trip and it worked very well. I packed one suit, a dress shirt and tie, two pairs of pants, several pairs of shorts, and several polo shirts and t-shirts. I rolled my socks and underwear and put them in with the shoes. Zipped up, the weight of the bag wasn't a problem and I used the shoulder strap. The only advice I'd give is to use travel-size toiletries packed in plastic ziplock bags to create more space and to avoid any spills or seepages. It would be even better if the bag had a few more side pockets for things like chargers and cables, but I ended up putting them in another carry-on backpack. So I'd give this item a 4.5 out of 5, with 5 being the highest rating. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the review, this product has been in my face every time i log onto FB or IG. You talked me into just going the old fashioned route and just pack my vlothes up as i normally do and just pack a portable steamer.

I'm goong to vegas for the Spence Crawford fight and I treated myself to 2 silk Gucci polo shirts for the weekend. This seemed like a good idea for the weekend until your shirts cane out wrinkled lol

I used mine a couple of time for Short trips. Didn't have any complaints about this bag at all. As far as your shirts being Winkle when unpacking your bag. There always iron in the Hotel rooms.

I have a couple of things I would add to this review. I do appreciate the thoroughness, but it should be noted that this is certainly a use-case scenario and definitely subjective to travel style. If you feel the need to bring extras, no duffle is for you. If you pack for an expo/event >1 day, needing a full suit, all duffles are a bad idea. Coming from someone who regularly travels for 2 day trips, always pack wrinkle-free shirts when traveling. Yes they still wrinkle a touch regardless of what you use, but leaving it in the bathroom while showering is usually sufficient. Even the largest suitcases do not fit shirts flat and there will always be wrinkles unless you carry the luggage like a pizza. Regarding 2 pairs of shoes, I wear a pair and bring a pair, I have never brought more than 1 pair casual(on me) and 1 pair dress shoes in 10yrs. My suggestion is to make sure each garment lays very flat, and place your shirts inside your jacket. Where this duffle absolutely falls short is for anyone tall. I am only 6’1” and my shirts are too long and smashed at the bottom if left on a hangar. Resolution was to use some dry cleaning hangers and bend them to work. Where this excels is in NOT needing a suit. I have traveled on 5 day trips with this bag, pretty full but functional. Weekend trips, perfection. I adore this bag, and cant recommend it enough for casual 2-3 day trips. I actually like that I am forced to unpack it a hair and not live out of my luggage. I unzip it, pull out loose items, then hang the whole bag from the hangers with shirts and all. I like to think about it as traveling and packing convenient is always packing light, and I know the exceptions that comes with it.

Thanks for the review! The old wraparound SkyRoll/BankRoll bags seem to be designed better from a wrinkle perspective (but they don't hold quite as much from a duffel perspective). BTW, I found using plastic wraps from the cleaners help with wrinkles when packing hanging clothes in a garment bag. Also, Downy Wrinkle Release works great once you get there. Just spray the wrinkled areas, stretch the shirt out and let it dry 20 minutes. Finally, I learned to fold a suit this summer for a wedding trip to Spain. Carried two suits in my StandardLuggage backpack. Worked great. Lots of videos on this online, e.g. SUITCAFE.

Took mine on a cruise and experienced the same. Shirts were less than perfect but 2 suits were good to go. What was the real game changer was the wrinkle release spray. No iron’s on cruise ships so this was clutch.

One other minor complaint was I bought an Amazon cheap knockoff of the Halfday bag and they had side compartments with room for two size 12 shoes on each side.

Just got mine. It looks really cool. Other than that, it was a bit of a challenge the first try, packing it. Little awkward. Will take some practice. It’s larger than I thought as well. A few small planes may push back on this. I will use it however. It’s fine.

Good review. I'm 6'4" so the tall person challenges resonate with me.

Two pairs of shoes (three if you include the ones you're wearing) for a two day trip? You need more versatile shoes. And, you're carrying button downs and not fully unpacking your bag? Even for only two days, I always unpack my entire bag. I need/want to hang those shirts up. That said, I'm big and I just accept that I'm gonna need to use the iron in my room because i've never found any wrinkle free solution.

Did you review the 40 or 45 size?
Also when packing shoes, I wrap them in a plastic grocery bag so my clothes won't get dirty.
As mentioned below ALWAYS put your liquids in a zip lock bag so leaks won't be catastrophic.

Could've talked a little bit more about product quality: zippers, stitching, material, etc. It's what most people who have come across stuff on social media are curious about. All garment bags have the same downsides, not sure you're going to find it easier to get your stuff into any other garment bag, or completely avoid wrinkles 😜

Thank you very much! I already have a rolling garment bag which has to be checked...was hoping this would be a good carry-on...most planes have a 22 & even 24 some max length...Im looking for the dimensions when it is in duffel form...thanks for the reminder of the weight when carrying it through the airport along w my personal bag. My personal bag has a sleeve which I typically attach to a rolling carry-on. Clever idea but im concerned about the comfort factor....appreciate your review!

If you keep some of the dry clean garment bags and pack each item inside those bags then place it inside the travel garment bag, you'll be sure to have wrinkle free clothes.

Garbage in Garbage out.. if you put your clothes in wrinkled then will come out wrinkled. You mentioned when packing that you thought you were failing because they already wrinkled. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

They sell shoe bags so they don’t dirty your clothes. Also you could have just leaned it up against the back of the couch to hold its shape.

Not sure if the price increased but did you rate the 45 L version or the 40 L version. Their guidelines make it seem like the 40L would be too small for you (and only barely big enough for me)

So… if the manufacturer gives reveiwers discount codes, it kinda implies you might have a bias.
