im going into 8th grade this year, i was totally scared and not excited but this made me realize to live up every moment of this last year of being a kid. i lowkey started tearing up towards the end 😭 . but this definitely gave me some realization within 6-7th of middle school I didn’t think about this until now but im so glad i realized before it was to late. thank you !! ❤️

Watching this on February 8 2025, and I am currently in 8th grade. This video is really making me reflect on how my life has progressed, everything i've been through, and how much i've grown as a person. 8th grade has by far been my favorite school year bc everything has been amazing. It's only been going downhill in terms of family life since about January 15 I wanna say. My dad said he might switch me to another middle school closer to him. Meanwhile, I've spent the past 4 weeks (not including weekends), at my grandma's, and it's been amazing. My grandma is the lady who has helped and been one of the main people raising me and she goes through and has gone through so much stress to protect and help me and my older sister. MEANWHILE, I am currently at my dad's and he has always tried his hardest and tho I don't have the best relationship with him, I do acknowledge that he's trying his best. I hate crying and going through things, but when I stop being sad I grow from the situation and try to be positive. In may we have a special 8th grade formal just for us 8th graders and I can't wait for that. Also, back in October I ran for homecoming King and sadly I didn't win, but I barely lost by a few votes. I lowkey sound like a loser writing this but honestly I don't care bc ain't no one from school gonna see this anyways. So I hope the rest of my 8th grade year is spent being happy, thankful, joyous, and being at this same middle school.
(Sorry for sending a whole paragraph but I wanted to say this just bc i'm scared/sad/happy for the last day of Middle School.)

Girl I felt so bad seeing you cry! If I was there I would've been hugging you the whole time! I know how it feels graduating school and not seeing your friends anymore. In 2020 I was so depressed when my high school shutdown because of covid! My mental health was so messed up just sitting in my old house every day! One of the worst times of my life! In 2022 I went to another school and It was the best! I made great new friends, was a cheerleader, was on the broadcast, did karaoke and went to tolo. I really wish all of my friends were still in my life! That's the worst thing about growing up is not seeing ya friends anymore they go and live their own lives. If they were still in your life you'd be still happy and having mad fun! Here's some high school advice make lots of friends have as much fun as you can and don't let anyone kill your vibe!
