Cash did poke the ball away from Jiedel making him lose possession for a split second. That’s the only argument that i can see that would be in Cash’s favor, but it definitely isn’t a easy call to make in real time.

Well at 7-0 the game should've been over but they kept playing. Regarding the Dead ball, yeah it's dead. He didn't simply lose the dribble. He was gathering for a shot and got stripped. It's the same logic behind when Cash was driving and Jiedel stripped the ball out of bounds and it became his possession.
