ClarityDX Prostate: A new way to detect prostate cancer

This video is a recording of Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada's October 2023 Coast to Coast Support Group meeting held over Zoom.

Dr. John Lewis is speaking on ClarityDX Prostate, a test that improves the accuracy of detecting clinically significant prostate cancer.

In addition to being a professor and holding the Bird Dogs Chair in Translational Oncology in the Department of Oncology at the University of Alberta, he is also the founding member and past chair of the Alberta Prostate Cancer Research Initiative, a province-wide research network of scientists, physicians, and patients working to improve the outcomes and quality of life of those living with prostate cancer.

As an entrepreneur, Dr. Lewis founded three Canadian biotechnology companies including Nanostics, a precision health company that develops and commercializes diagnostic tests. Dr. John Lewis’ laboratory studies prostate cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Canadian men.
