This video shows you how to install new front brake pads and rotors from TRQ on your 2010-2013 Kia Soul. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.

Estimated installation time for a professional technician is approximately: 48 minutes

This repair was done on a 2013 Kia Soul + 2.0L Hatchback 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

• Brake Caliper Compressor Tool. Single Piston. Screw Style.
• Swivel
• Brake Grease
• Brake Parts Cleaner
• Copper Anti-Seize
• Safety Glasses
• Silicone Brake Parts Lubricant
• Drain Pan
• Wheel Chocks

is it prudent to replace the calipers as well, or only if they're failing? those look pretty rusty, but they're not really a wear part like the pads and rotors...
