I loved how the originals actually had that museum mode. As a kid growing up in the early 2000s and seeing the games presented as little exhibits where you could learn a bit of history helped me have more respect for the games on the collection and I would consider that having a big impact on my desire to learn about the history of video games and trivia related to gaming. Also the main theme that plays in Namco Museum 1 is simultaneously one of the most zen and menacing songs at the same time.

My favorite's always gonna be Galaga. It was the only game I was actually good at, next to Dig Dug, Mappy, and Rally X ("new" only) as close seconds. I use to annoy my parents with the Rally X theme song imitation while playing it with them.

Personally, my favourite namco arcade title is pac-man arrangement 1996, the characters have a lot more charm, the maps are a lot more creative, and it has kinzo, who will combine with the ghosts if they go past him. (Most people don't know what this game was, because it released on a obscure cabinet called namco classic collection volume 2)

The Tower Of Druaga! My mom got me namco museum volume 3 for my birthday when I was in 2nd grade. Tower of Druaga is criminally underrated despite having an anime.

Mappy is in my opinion the best Namco Arcade game of all time. Out of all the Namco classics, Mappy is the one I enjoy the most and even to this day, it's my favorite game of all time overall. Mappy is a really great classic, yet sadly it's forgotten and not talked about often by the gaming community.

I liked the easter egg in Tower's of Druaga in Namco Museum Vol 3.

I still wish that Namco Museum needs a major update by adding return games like xevious, dig dug II, rally x & new rally x, mappy, toy pop, dragon spirit, pac land, ordyne, pole position 1 & 2, arrangement for pac man, galaga, new rally x, dig dug, xevious, etc...
Plus new & debut games that never port in past like nebulasray, F/A, mach breakers, etc...
