I’m with you on this. The articulation on this one was very disappointing. I absolutely love the look of Damian but after I got him in a good pose where he could stand, I haven’t touched him since.

His cartoonish style is because he is likely based on the Super Sons art style, which is very much stylized like a cartoon. Good comic tho. Fun.

I’m glad that you don’t take pictures and stress that all companies are great. As consumers we should always hold ALL companies to high expectations. In doing so, companies will likely produce products that are worthy of purchase. Some guys take great pictures, and stress that every figure is good, when in fact, vices are entrenched into the product. I appreciate your work because you skillfully examine the functionality and aesthetics, while at the same time leave consumers with an appropriate overview that they may make their own choice without be skewed, thx

I think I know what the deal is with the hands. I dont think theyre necessarily trigger fingers. I think theyre supposed to be a combination of fist hands, open hands, and holding hands. Essentially trying to make one set of hands with three functions, but kind of failing at all three.

Overall sculpt of Mcfarlane Toy's are superb. But they need to add a dumbbell ball joint for the leg's to make it stand up without a figure stand.

Favorite Robin suit is Tim Drake’s red and black post death of Superboy

I thought it looked too cartoony too, like anime. Then I checked out the comic and that's how he's drawn. They should have given him double joined elbows. Weak release. He looks great but come on McFarlane. 🤨

I agree with you on Damian's suit. I think it looks really cool. I love the Assassin vibes to it as well, with the long ending of the tunic.

The Robin in the Animated Series was Dick Grayson, but the suit was Tim Drake's from the comics. Also known as Robin 2, despite Tim being the 3rd person to take on the persona, it was the 2nd Robin in terms of physical appearance. That one is my favorite.

Tim drake the red and black uniform is my favorite, I think it was to honor superboy who passed away so he used his colors

I think he's tall like that because he's supposed to be the more late teen version like he was in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War
