Japanese engineers have created a robot named Gordon, who will soon be able to complete any mundane job a human doesn’t want to do.

FOX Business Network (FBN) is a financial news channel delivering real-time information across all platforms that impact both Main Street and Wall Street. Headquartered in New York — the business capital of the world — FBN launched in October 2007 and is one of the leading business networks on television, having topped CNBC in Business Day viewers for the second consecutive year in 2018. The network is available in nearly 80 million homes in all markets across the United States. Owned by FOX Corporation, FBN is a unit of FOX News Media and has bureaus in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

Don't those robots run on electricity? We don't even have enough to charge the electric cars we have now. I guess they'll just hook them up to wind mills. LOL

As a stock clerk in a grocery store, I could have put a full case of 24 bottles on the shelves in the time it took this robot to put one bottle on the shelf.

Maybe someday soon we will see robot news anchors. Telling us only what they want us to hear.

If a robot is doing your job in the future how are you making money to live or are you just naturally rich

What's the point if you need a human behind to make the robot move ?

Instead of "YOU", a robot will be talking to Stuart.
Since Stuart will be programming the robot that took your place.

This is part of the problem today...too many robots ruin the opportunities for people to work. Instead of training one person to operate a virtual machine...let's train 7 people to take pride in the work they do...whether that's stocking shelves or cleaning toilets. Do it for the pride in JOB WELL DONE...and pay these folks well to interact and help customers...people will return to a place of interaction and assistance. Train the produce people to know their produce...know what it is...is vitamins and nutrition...how to use it in recipes...Let's return to a time of knowledge and wisdom versus rigid, rote repetitions by robots. Humans are not robots...and robots are not humans...there's no such thing "ARTIFICIAL" intelligence..the two words are mutually exclusive and cancel each other. Intelligence isn't Artificial...you have to work to maintain it.

This is actually scary just replace the grocery store and the restocking shelves with a gun and a war zone kinda cool tho imagine sending robots you can control into battle from miles away without putting actual lives at risk.
