Today, I talked about budget categories and why they are important. Also, this will be my last morning routine video until December 23! I am headed off to Switzerland!

I also wanted to note that it may seem like my morning routines take a long time or a lot of time. It doesn't. If I wasn't recording or explaining my steps, I only spend about five minutes a day on my finances!

I have tried other budget-by-paycheck worksheets and to be honest, I am going back to the TBM budget-by-paycheck workbook. I find that the layout provides more of an insight on my finances. An overview of savings, expenses, and debt all in one location. Also trends on things like electricity (summer is different from winter months) and much more. I just got my work book for the year today, I'm so glad too.
I used your method for a couple of years and it worked beautifully. Last year I decided to go with a different and pretty popular planner, it was awful
I fought that planner to work for me all year and honestly lost traction and all but gave up on it. I'm so happy to have gotten this one back in my life.
Moral: If it ain't broke, dont fix it

I simplified my categories, now that we have our spending under control.

For us, eating out is separated from groceries. Our groceries, includes household items. 😊

Do you pay for household things separately with cash when you're checking out at the grocery store? Sometimes I buy toilet paper or paper plates and things on my grocery shopping days but I use cars and in my tracker I split the bill.
