One of the fun things about Montreal is that you never know what you might find off the beaten path. There are many murals and pieces of street art around the city, and little parks tucked away in various neighbourhoods. As has been pointed out, summer time is festival time, there are non-stop festivals between June and October.

Goovy tunes and out of this world street art.
Sheaded some skin off the lizard of my horizons.
Then I descended deep into the retrofitedness of the universe. Wow dude, click click click click, , , click.

That mural behind the tarp and fencing has a famous image in the top right corner - the "man in the moon" getting a rocketship in his eye. It's borrowed from the silent movie "A Trip to the Moon", made by the legendary French innovator of cinema Georges Melies in 1902. Four days may be brief but it's still a fair amount of time to explore Montreal, but it's a shame you missed out on Quebec City as it's truly gorgeous. BTW on the 29th while it was 13 C / 55 F in Montreal out in the Greater Vancouver area it was just under 26 C (about 78 Fahrenehit).

I love Montréal; my favourite city in Québec, my favourite city in Canada, and my favourite city in North America. If you love street art and are in Honolulu, Hawai'i, USA, go to the Kaka'ako West district of Honolulu and you'll see a plethora of street art/graffiti art/murals. You won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed the videos you made in my city. Montreal is more active during Festival season which usually starts in June and ends in August: F1 Grand Prix, Jazz Fest, Just For Laughs Fest, Francopholies Fest, Nuits d'Afrique Fest, etc.
