My man this is a beautiful video. Especially on the women part having three sisters and two nieces. 😊😊

A martial arts channel talking about diffusing a bad situation by talking it out is always a surprise but it is definitely practical and I salute you for it.🗿

Remember guys, the first line of defense is always your RIZZ

If you can be provoked to fight, the other guy has control over you. You demonstrate your martial arts by showing the confidence humility and wisdom of a martial artist.

This is absolutely true. I've diffused plenty of situations like this. Another good one is this: when one of your boys is arguing with a guy from another group of men, calmly find a person in the other group that looks reasonable, give him a head nod, and chat him into helping to diffuse the aggression between the two aggressors while apologising for your friends behaviour. It often breaks up the tribe mentality and makes people realise that it's just two drunk idiots arguing, and that the rest of their respective groups don't deep down share their stupid animosity towards each other.

I really appreciate this. I would say that self defense starts way before the situation gets too hot. Being observant of your area and diffusing a scenario are one of your first tools you should bring out.

Violence is never an option is false. Violence is never the first options would be a better statement

Are you from Philly?:) I suspect so . I compliment you for being a rounded person and encouraging others to be so. Be capable of violence, but understand it has huge consequences, and helping diffuse a situation isn’t cowardice.

number one important thing i learned in martial arts so far is appreciation and kindness toward other people, everyone has an ego so you can't take it personally. It is best to appeal to the good heart that many people have and look past their ego. It will also make you a better fighter because you will understand the ego better in fights.

Dan Flashes has clothes that are exactly that dude's style. So, its really kind of him to let you get away with ruining his shirt. I hear they even have a shirt that is $2000.

When someone starts a fight, and you apologize in a respectful calming way (not out of fear). It's really surprising how they often just calm down and maybe even apologize to you as well. Bad days happen to everyone.

Shane, I really appreciate you encouraging people to use their minds before their fists. Everyone loves to flaunt their fighting capability (it’s an awesome skill), but unfortunately you just never know the mindset or capabilities of the other guy. I’ve had people in my neighborhood get murdered over dumb little quarrels when I was growing up. One of my friends (great boxer) got his head stomped on by a bunch of dudes after he beat up one of their boys - he got brain damage and a cracked skull. This isn’t a movie, it’s not a game and nobody has to fight “fair” on the street like they do in a sanctioned fight. Please be careful everyone. Don’t let your pride kill you.

This is called Honor. It is dishonorable to get into street fights for not only does it dishonor you, those that came and made a way before you (family/gym family), your Kru/teacher/master/coach, and lastly the Honor of your school/gym/dojo. Perspective from a SE Asian living in America.

Lmao Dan Flashes! Must have had a super complicated pattern

Nobody wins a street fight. No matter how strong and how skilled you are you can never know the potential consequences.

When I took Judo as a kid the instructor warned us to ALWAYS walk away the first option.
There are people dead and in the ground who didn’t take this advice.

A guy actually told me that i "have nice legs " a couple weeks ago. Made me feel gay, but it was nice to hear a compliment on something ive been working at.

Remember, all martial arts are weak to gun fire.
