I’m trying to decide between this and the Suntup version. I’ve never read it but I know it’s a must. But I have a folio shelf and a Suntup shelf now, so now I have to decide, which I suck at!

Thank you so much for the unboxing video of the Folio Society version of 1984. I would like to purchases it but I am hoping for some help. I had a question regarding the last picture where Winston is playing chess and he writes 2+2= . That is very signification to me. The illustration doesn't add the 5. I wanted to know does this 1984 edition by the Folio Society in the last chapter text show "2+2=" or "2+2=5"?

I have the Folio Animal Farm you mention. It’s fine but nothing to write home about. My advice, don’t pay secondary market prices; wait for a reprint or a newly designed edition.
