I thought this tv series was very good.
The scenes of him during his young Indian life were incredibly amazing.
*the scenes of him as a rich/powerful rancher were good too.
The scenes of his grand-daughter discovering crude oil on edges of his property, which wasn't his property was intense.
*i thought for sure there was going to be a 3rd year of this tv series.
The many plots of the series was just becoming interesting too.
*i could invision that his grand-daughter would later in her life would become a huge decision maker of the family.
*the very beginning of the grand-daughter shows that she is Totally Loyal to her grandfather and his ways of handling the family and the family businesses.
She seemed very smart, very tough, like her grandfather and determined with desire to learn all that she can from her grandfather.
*its too bad the series didn't get picked up for a 3rd year.. 1:14

Too bad no season 3 will be coming! They always cancel the really good shows! When the old lady was telling the story about Eli tracking the bear, she said that he wanted the bear to know he was there and that he was a formidable opponent! Anyone who uses a gun to hunt animals are not true hunters! Being formidable is tracking and killing the animal with what is in the woods already and bare hands!

I never heard about this series before - very good production and I enjoyed it very much watching them.

The math dont add up in this show 1849 Eli gets kidnapped at 15 years old and then shows him in 1915. That makes him 80-82 years old. Dates could of been bette. Other than that a great show.
