Great dial, a GMT function, open case back and less than £500. Brilliant for anyone on a budget watching to get into mechanical watches.

Great dial! I own SRPC79J1 which has the same herringbone ( or zen garden ) pattern and I love it. I wonder why this herringbone model hasn't flown off the shelves yet. It has been out for 3 years if I'm not mistaken, but people rarely talk about it...

This is definitely not a dress watch and is in fact very sporty. A dress watch by definition is extremely thin, has 0 complications and doesn't draw any attention to itself. This is the exact opposite... being elegant and having Roman numerals doesn't make something a dress watch... You could say it's dress watch inspired casual wear sure, but this can be worn in many situations just like a button down shirt can
