I only have like 4 photos of my parents when they were children in total (it wasn't until they started dating that I got actual footage of them in their late 20s) so this movie made me think a lot of them when they were growing up. Makes me appreciate the fact that they nonstop recorded my sister and I. There's hours and hours of remastered footage (vhs to digital) of us that I can rewatch of all the good, bad and ugly, but footage nonetheless. They weren't perfect parents, but they did the best they could with good intentions. And I'm grateful for that.
