How do we know that God's ways are good? And would God command us to do something inherently evil? In this video, Frank explores the moral implications of Christianity in comparison to other worldviews and what the Gospel reveals about God's nature.

Ive always been a non religious jew. Thought i had great ideas and was very smart. I felt deep anxiety fear and worry all the time. I was called to the bible. Soon i realized almost everything is out of my control, God gave this life to me and I need to humble that voice in my head that tought it knew it all. My heart is yours Jesus! Thank you for saving humanity! May your kingdom spread and deepen. My Lord my God that has given me unconditional Love❤

Jordan: As a former atheist for ten years before coming to Christ in 2002, this was my exact situation. This video was short but simple and so well explained, thanks. The only addition I might consider is that while my main reason for rejecting God was indeed my own desires and autonomy, I also had a false picture of God that I had created myself or from others to reject, so even if Christianity was true, I wouldn't have wanted to accept that false god I had created or borrowed from culture or other atheists.

For me, learning about the gospel and reading about Jesus firsthand for myself in the New Testament not only showed me my situation, but it gave me a more correct understanding of God's heart for me and HIs will and ways than the one I had falsely made up to reject. I still think the first issue (sinful desires and autonomy) is number one, but learning about the gospel and God through the life of Jesus sure helped to change the way I thought about what a life submitted to God through Jesus would look like, even with all the challenges and sacrifice it can bring.

Still, great video!

Jesus showed us the way to:
Love those who might not deserve it
Deal with our sin
Live righteously
And yes even follow God's laws ... not for salvation but because we're saved!!!
He did NOT come so we can continue in sin!

Nailed it! The problem common to humanity from Day One is rebellion. I've asked people a similar question: if God walked in here today, what would you say to Him? The response is usually accusation. Well, "Let God be true and every man a liar." 😏

_"They want to be God."_

That's it. We want to be our own gods and goddesses, we want to decide what it's moral or immoral, we want to create our own rules and find "our own internal Christ".

Here's one for you
Most of the time evidence isn't the issue for people. They don't want Atheism to be true because they don't want to give up their sense of purpose to a universe who isn't in control. They want God. They want God over their own lives, so sometimes just asking the question can help clear the decks of any objections and not only help you understand where the person is coming from, but it can help them understand when they have to admit that they're really not in it to discover what is true. They want to believe what they want to believe.

I really can't imagine most people saying that they wouldn't believe something if it was true, but maybe Frank just surrounds himself with a different humans than I do idk

God will divided the people into two groups… of the left he will put the goats, or the right he will put his sheep” “my sheep hear my voice”

I would argue that to achieve happiness and content is by helping other and leaving behind a positive experience in other people lives. This can be done with a God or without.

The truth doesn't bring happiness. It only bring sorrow since the truth is we don't know the truth(when it comes to the supernatural).

Hey Frank can you answer this question. If Christianity were proven false would you stop believing?

Is it really about not wanting to follow God' rules? I find in my experience with people it is usually about unbelief in a creator God they can not see. I find people's black and white world view of not seeing beyond there own experience is what holds them back. The world needs the veil lifted from there eyes.

Joy and contentment! Not happiness! Happiness is predicated on favorable circumstances from man's perspective! Joy and contentment allowed Paul & Silas to break out in songs of praise to the One who caused them to be shackled to the floor of a dungeon bathroom in the middle of a Philippian Jail! Acts 16:25-34, Philippians 4:11-13, 1 Timothy 6:6

I've asked a couple people this very question. With that said, how do I respond when someone asks, "What do you mean by truth?" Thank you, Dr. Frank, God bless your ministry and those who desire the truth in Christ

I’m speaking as a non-believer: the problem I’ve encountered with a number of Christians is that after I say yes to the question, and you give me evidence and resources, my continued doubt and questions are met with accusations and assumptions that “I don’t want Christianity to be true” and “I don’t want God to be real.” This is despite me insisting on the contrary being the case. I’m starting to suspect that it’s because many Christians are afraid of the problems and insufficiency with the evidence they provide, and the questions and challenges that come with it. Basically, as much as I hope I’m wrong, I’m starting to suspect that the only reason Christians say these things is because they want it to be true. I want it to be true, too; but I try to think critically and achieve a certain level of certainty. If Christianity were shown to be true, I would become a Christian. I’ve been trying to seek the truth and see if it’s true. Although I’m an unbeliever, I’m not an atheist. More of an agnostic, I guess
