I just turned 21 and escaped a traumatic childhood when I was 18 going into college and moved to another rcountry and had to learn a whole new language, continue school, and work a retail job. So many things happened and I still feel like I'm recovering from my childhood and despite having my bachelor's in global management, I can't see myself in this career because I'm so exhausted. Even at work I get so exausted that I need to mentally recover from it all. Trying to find my "purpose" in life but when I imagine every career I can that I'd be interested I'd always end up with "But I can't image doing that everyday, I don't have enough mental energy".

You made it, you survived! you live on your terms. Your a warrior I was held 8 months against my will although with sinister outcome the damage is life long and irreparable. So I do my living for those that didn’t make it out. Your achievements are a reflection on who your are. I still have to fight to get out of bed sometimes but that’s OK. ❤

I retired at 35 w/a pension because I could (not because it was a lot of money). My husband is just a couple of year away from feeling financially independent.

People think we're crazy, but money is a renewable resource... Time isn't. We both have a living parent we ADORE and also both lost a parent ~60 years old. We. Are. Middle. Aged. So we live like it and spend time ONLY with the people we love unless we cannot! 💜❤️

Omg I never knew that...losing my little brother brought me to YouTube, and I started doing makeup too. Not like on YouTube or anything, just at home. I've grown out of it some, but I do still love to see it, and wear it when I can. But this was 6 years ago. Still love it though ❤️ sorry for your loss

Thanks for sharing ur feelings with us. I have so much stress and sadness too. Makeup is one of the ways I escaped my reality. It makes me feel like an artist. I can play with colors, texture and formulas. I love creating looks.

I got into makeup because it was the only fun thing in my life, I had a traumatic childhood as well and I feel like for us it's therapeutic. When I do makeup for a wedding and the bride feels beautiful and I got to play with makeup it's the best!!!
