If sunandfun didn't tell you don't tow the boat with the jackplate raised at all. It can be damaged if not in the full down position while towing.

I bought a hummingbird helix 5 chirp gps si in may 2018 and I still have gotten a hold on all the features while dealing with my tackle and my friend tackle and rods. Boat life without a bass boat.

The ZX200 has a similar center tackle storage. I like to put my plastics in big ziplock bags and set them along the edge of that box. They fit perfect and are easily accesible

Check out a 4 blade prop. Yes, you’ll lose a bit on the top end but you can ride on plane nice and slow as you stated. Plus the whole shot and trough water ride truly helps. Hope that helps a bit.

You will love the jack plate and the Blades! A couple months ago I got a 2019 24' bay boat, Yamaha 300 with hydraulic jack plate and love it. If you ever get up around the NC coast, would like to take you out on the bay boat for some toothy, salty reel screaming action!
