This is what RED is for. Characters with super stylized designs where a transforming toy would have to sacrifice the look of the character for the sake of engineering in an alt mode

I actually love this figure a lot, to me it has a very accurate design to the TFP tv show knockout design and honestly one of the best RED figures, with all my hope i hope we can get legacy TFP knockout

After about a DECADE after the premiere of Transformers Prime, we FINALLY get a show accurate toy of Knockout. All the previous Knockout toys were cartoon accurate (but that was for their vehicle modes), but it was their robot modes that lacked show accuracy. THIS, being a non-transforming action figure can be as show accurate as it wants, and I thank the makers of this toyline for that.

Okay so the R.E.D series makes a lot more sense for these kind of characters with the super stylized looks that would be hard to capture in a mainline transformer.

It would be nice if they would hopefully release TFP Optimus Prime, Arachnid, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, and Megatron. I really like Knockout's design, I'm not so pleased with the articulation, but it's R.E.D. what do you expect?

Like others I wish this line did characters like Autobot Spike, Transmutate, or even some old school Action Masters or like an idea I had about ShadowStriker where we could get a normal one with Legacy and the R.E.D line could give us the asymmetrical design after Shockwave put her back together. Other characters seemed like a loss but these TFP characters look to be the best and maybe that reformatting Megatron are the only ones really catching my eye.

I would absolutely love to see a RED version of Breakdown, considering we got Knockout. Also see Predaking for would be cool

R.E.D. Cheetor still seems to be the best quality and most articulated of the line. Articulation should be better, but I will definitely get him. TF Prime is a, uh, prime candidate for show accurate figures. Give me Prime Optimus please.

If I recall that giant drill accessory isn't anything he used in the show, but is a reference to the TFP game.

He looks fantastic! Really hope TFP Wheeljack is in the pipeline as I loved his Drift inspired design in that show.

I 100% agree with you. They should focus on the TFP characters. And I also think they need to severely reconsider their approach to this line. They need to get the guys that are doing the G.I Joe Classified Series to do this line. We’d see MASSIVE improvements if that ever happened.

I feel like this line has a lot of potential with prime and live action designs but the main reasons they are failing is because of the articulation materials and scale but if they fix those problems I feel like this line would be a massive success

I completely agree with you PVP. There was no other series like Prime. The characters were so unique in look and personality. Knockout, Arcee, Bulkhead and Starscream were probably my favorites. I also loved the conception of the vehicons, both car and jet. I’ve binge watched Prime sooo many times. It’s my second favorite series right after G1, then Animated is a close 3rd. It’s a shame this figure doesn’t have the quality and articulation to match how great it looks. Great review! Hasbro seems to be throwing crap at the wall just to see what sticks. A swing and a miss almost every time except for the Arcee. Again. Great review! Repeat the process!😄

Although it’s a non-transforming figure, it's the best we can got for now . He's so accurate to the show, way better than that small transforming one we got awhile back. A little floor polish should solve those loose joints . I will have him displayed with the rest of the TFP figures. I don’t collect the RED line but couldn’t miss out the beautiful well made Arcee and neither for Knockout . Knockout should be my last RED figure that I plan to stick with UNLESS we get a better TFP Rachet. The last was not that bad but I think, a nice taller version and better looking, like Knockout would impress me to collect one.
Love the awesome tires on Knockout’s back and for the weapons, I think I will add some paint to the accessories for sure as well to his body replacing that grey to a silver. .
I doubt it very much that the Legacy edition will ever beat this sort of accuracy.
