Dare To Lead Crosses International Date Line

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race fleet ticked off another significant race milestone when it crossed the International Date Line on Day 18 of the 5,600 nautical mile Race 9: Race to the Emerald City from Qingdao to Seattle.

Teams are now sailing west of the prime meridian and crew had the rare opportunity to live the same day (Monday 9 April) twice. Next stop, Seattle!
