Cowboys Got GREAT News In Week 1 Win vs. Browns

The Dallas Cowboys blew out the Cleveland Browns in NFL Week 1 and there was plenty of great Cowboys news coming out of the game. But the biggest and most impactful of all might be the play of the linebacker. The Cowboys revamped unit led by Eric Kendricks and DeMarvion Overshown played great and that bodes well for the Cowboys season-long outlook.

- DeMarvion Overshown: 11 tackles, 1 Sack, 1 TFL, 0 PBU & 7/7 for 71 yards, 0 TD, 2 1st Downs in coverage
- Eric Kendricks: 9 tackles, 2 Sacks, 1 TFL, 1 INT and 1/3 for 4 yards, 1st Down, 1 INT in coverage
- Damone Clark: 4 tackles, 1 TGT, 0 REC
- Marist Liufau: 2 tackles, 1 pressure
- Nick Vigil: 2 tackles

Micah Parsons was also deployed in a way Cowboys Report host Tom Downey liked. He played 69 snaps, was in coverage on just two of them and had 6 off-ball snaps. He was allowed to attack and it paid off with a league-high 9 pressures.
