These short videos are the best ones you ever make in my opinion, the longer high quality videos are SOO helpful but it's the little things that end up helping me out in a pinch

Thank you so much for your hard work and your in depth tutorials Shaun! Thanks to you I'm well on my way to making my own platformer and I've even learned a few tricks on my own! I subscribed and became a parton a while ago, You've more than earned a cut of my paycheck! Thank you!

This is super useful to me, thanks. I've been a little afraid of moving to GM2.0 because they changed how copy-paste from alternative image editors works (no longer quickly adds a frame, instead creates a brush). Importing is now the only way to go.

This was super helpful! It's been a real bother trying to import sprites frame by frame.

How do you use sprite sheets that have different sized sprites or uneven spacing?

I remember discovering this (I think) by accident in GM81 after exporting a sprite and re-importing the same sprite and seeing it automatically split up like that. Cool to see it get more attention like this though!

Strange, but this feature doesn't work at 2.2.5:(

I really wish they had a similar function for 2D sheets vs 1D strips, I make a lot of sprites in photoshop and sometimes it's a pain to just save as strips. When loading a sheet it usually asks for total frames, frames per row, and dimensions. Would be cool if a suffix like "_sheet30_5_32_32" or something like that did the same thing, also saving sprites as sheets instead of strips would be a godsend. Say I have some sprite thats like 128x16 and it has like 100 frames (like some kind of water surface texture or something), exporting as a strip would make a file 12800 px wide, which it can handle just fine but god. The preview thumbnail is a pixel tall lmao

Shaun the audio on this video is a lot lower than past videos, otherwise fantastic video, as usual.
