This honestly feeds into the point that opened the Dark multiverse plotline, though.

That it was a set of realities *so* unreasonably horrible they *couldn't* exist. Not places where things went wrong, but places so bad they couldn't really happen to begin with.

It was why they were all collapsing.

And this makes *perfect* sense in that context.

I prefer the version of him where he doesn’t murder his family and instead just finds out Thomas and Martha were corrupt. Makes the better reflection of Batman imo

He doesn't usually kill his parents and Bruce, that's a New 52 thing. In fact in previous continuites Thomas Wayne Sr was the police commissioner in Gotham and knew his son was Owlman.
