There's a person imitating me - it's a total scam.
Don't fall for it.
There's only one way to contact me, and that's via my email address in the description of the video.

Rolex should sell directly to consumers themselves and only open Rolex Boutiques and Service centres.

They already do this all over Europe. Check out 'Bucherer' and 'Goldsmiths'. They both are Rolex AD's but have a "secondhand" section flooded with Rolex. Well above RRP of course. Who's to say these aren't brand new pieces passed off as used just for an excuse to hike prices up?

Controversial move by Rolex imo

I purchased two new Rolexes last year from my AD. I will never pay one cent over RRP for any watch, including a Rolex.

So you’re saying instead of peeling off the stickers for the customer the dealer can de sticker the watch and put it in the “used” section for double the money 💰. I guess there’s no reason for display only models anymore 🤔!

I went to an AD recently to look at some display only Rolex models, within 30 seconds they guided me to the "certified" pre-owned section for the only Rolex watches available to actually buy. Of course they were asking 16K for a used sub!! Their game, their rules....

Pre owned for Rolex ad may be solved by selling “pre-owned at AD” only models that are not in the current catalog

i had to confirm this information with my AD. My sales persons told me "we have been talking but now they are figuring out how the dynamic of the process will be" so yeah, its true

If they restricted ADs to only re-sell out-of-production models that would solve a lot of problems imo

Can't see how folk will be getting new sports Rolex at retail list price. Corruption will be the norm and in effect they will be "official flippers".

So, an AD gets a watch, takes off the stickers, and then sells ot as second hand. Not dadgy at all then?

Omega sells direct from their site. So should Rolex. Where would they get their used from?

so all the brand new watches will just be sold 2nd hand

It’s already happening in New Zealand AD’s

I don't see an issue with this just yet. Unless Rolex doesn't monitor if their new serial numbers appear in this certified pre-owned inventory. Surely Rolex knows which serial numbers are going to which AD I would assume. Then Rolex would be able to know if those new watches sent to an AD begins appearing in their certified Rolex pre-owned inventory. The whole notion of a certified pre-owned item usually means it's in a database in my opinion.

Market is going to going even more nuts.

I don't see how this is possible or sustainable for all the reasons you state in this video. The possibility for corruption is way too great. it would be impossible for it not to be corrupted. I'll believe it when I see I guess. I'll also have to ween myself off the brand at that point. It's too much to take.

Rolex SA should restrict this to pieces 5 years and older only. The factory warranty is already in place. This will discourage shady practices by ADs, yet allow for a viable certified program to exist.

Shouldn’t be reselling at the AD but at a separate location like RSC where the pieces are serviced and certified & guaranteed.
