In this video, I am explaining how to create a Gaussian distribution with the help of a simplified simulation of 10 dice. In the next step, I create a Gaussian fit, in order to obtain the mean value and standard deviation from the data.

thanks for the video! i was looking everywhere on how to fit a gaussian in my histogram, but they never worked and i wasn't understanding the codes either.

Thanks a lot, I don't know how to choose my p0, is there any way for guessing? Can I guess it by printing some values? What if I only get a vertical line? Is it the problem that my plot has multiple peaks?

sir actually i'm working on Gamma Spectrometry (Ortec Software) I calculated data during Decay of different elements but i did not know about graph so, please give me a lit bit ideas about that .
