Mopar Splash Guards for Jeep Wrangler JL

The Mopar Splash Guards are a great way to prevent mud, dirt and road debris from kicking up off your tires on to the side of your Jeep Wrangler JL.

I just installed these on my 2023 Wrangler Willys JL. In order to have the front guards fit, I have to shave 1.5" off the front on the rock rails. You can also opt to trim around the mud guards. However, I don't think it would look as well or function as well. The nylon rivets that come with the kit will not work in a rivet gun designed for metal rivets. You have to get a special rivet gun for nylon rivets (just like the one depicted in this video). I bought one at Napa auto after trying 2 metal rivet guns from Harbor Freight which wouldn't work. No fault of the Harbor Freight ones. Once I had the right rivet gun, it was a fun project and the flaps look good and secure. By the way, the nylon rivets in the kit are 1/4" and you are required to drill some 1/4" holes--no big deal, you are drilling into plastic.

One time, I rented a Wrangler JL for a week. During said week, there was enough of a downpour to have the tires completely cover the windshield with splash-up from a deep puddle. Could these splash guards have kept that windshield clear?

They fit Rubicon UK version) I just done with stock Rubicon JLU 2020 and all perfectly fits.

Could we get a better shot of the truck with them installed? Seem quite bulky and a little bland

these will fit rubicons as long as you remove the rock rail
