Tempo = 120 BPM
Chord progression:
II: Cmaj7 I Am7 I Dm7 I G7 :II
The keyboard only outlines the triads, so for the sections with keys only you can add any extensions you like :)
You can simply play the C major scale on this. Easy :)
C major scale = C D E F G A B
Next up, I'd try outlining the chord tones/arpeggios:
Cmaj7 arpeggio = c e g b
Am7 arpeggio = a c e g
Dmin7 arpeggio = d f a c
G7 arpeggio = g b d f
Playing the C Major scale will result in C Ionian (Cmaj7 chords), A Minor (Am7 chords), D Dorian (Dm7 chords) and G Mixolydian (G7 chords) - all the same 7 notes!
Next up, I'd recommend trying out some more advanced colours on the dominant chord (G7/G13) by using the
G diminished 1/2-1 tone scale = G Ab Bb B C# D E F (G)
