Thanks much, this also worked fine on a Harley drive belt with a little practice...I did need to start over a few times as advised but got it right.

Thanks, just put on a new one and stowing the old one as a spare in my Zero's luggage. I got 26000 miles on it no problem.

I'm going to carry a spare for a long trip. Once it's coiled, is it better to gently zip tie (cable tie) it or is it better being wrapped in plastic before boxing it? Thanks for the video as I was baffled as to how I was going to transport it in the original packaging.

Very nice explanation but jesus this sounds like you only have to look at the belt the wrong way and it breaks already! :S Isn't this a little overprotective?
