So I guess this is about how Ivypool began meeting with Hawkfrost because she was lonely and a little jealous, looking for a friend. And she found one, for a short time, but soon she realized Hawkfrost's intentions towards turning her against her clan.

Anyway this is 397 frames, and I was somehow able to work on this over the course of a few months? You can see towards the end how my style improves a little.

I used Easy Paint Tool Sai and Sony Vegas 11

_Thinking about it, Hawkfrost must of liked or picked her because in a way, she reminded him of himself. Tigerstar likes Brambleclaw more, he always had. And with Sasha gone, and the rest of his clan treating him like some sort of outsider, he wanted to make Tigerstar more prouder than ever. And he failed. And in seeing someone who's sibling is treated better, he must of felt sympathy. He used it against her, of course, but I bet he still felt a connection or speaking from truth when talking about it to Ivypool._

i always found ivypool and hawkfrost's relationship interesting.(not romantically, i never saw them that way) but the dynamics of how they interacted to each other, and what he other must have felt. despite hawkfrost's intentions/attitude, im sure he must have felt some kind of care for her at somepoint. i dont believe in characters being "pure" evil

I like that you were able to put this song into the context of their relationship. In the song, the young woman is looking to move on, and she does so by trying online dating. The guy she attempts to meet up with (and this is me agreeing with several of the comments I saw on here) flaked out because he wasn't able to handle her baggage.
In the case of Hawkfrost and Ivypool, she was feeling neglected and ended up in the wrong place. As a result of her feelings, she clung to the first cat who seemed to care about her, a log like the woman in the song. But Hawkfrost was using her for his own purposes and never truly bothered to notice how far Ivypool was willing to go for his attention (romantic or not) so by the part where she's like "I thought you saw me", she's realizing that there's nothing she can do to impress him. And then she ends up fighting him because she knew which side she was on. She made her choice, even if it meant watching a piece of herself die with him, because she put so much effort into trying to get his attention even though she knew what the end result would be. It doesn't have to be romantic, though. This is just how I see her actions in regards to Hawkfrost.

I never noticed until now, but Hawkfrost looks so much less 'Savage' when they meet in the meadow.
He has proper eyes, no wound, and is overall more friendly. I love this touch.

Because of how Omen of the Stars dragged on a pretty slow and worn plot line (it was interesting, but just lasted too long), I feel like Hawkfrost and Ivypool’s TRUE relationship is often overlooked. It’s actually got a lot of depth, is extremely conflicting and layered, and adds so much to their characters

sometimes i'll come back to this video, and just... remember! this pmv was very influential on my drive to learn to draw, and genuinely was a BIG favorite of mine. it still is! it still blows me away the amount of work and love put into the project, and im so happy that it's still up, and that it's still getting seen! i hope that people, if they haven't seen it yet and are only just now watching this, are just as inspired as i was when i was a kid ;;w;;
