Here's a quick tip on creating a custom webpack configuration while working with WordPress.

One thing we've struggled with is we used to have our JS for blocks among other enqueued JS files (non-block JS - general jQuery/JS files). When we'd run the build or start command it'd wipe out all non-block JS files. It used to work, nothing changed except NPM version and wp/scripts version.
