Slight corrections, the drifter isn’t at all related to the hex, and was also sent by Albrecht, meaning they are trusting someone who has the power to crack the universe in two, and is being willingly muzzled by possessing warframes/ the hex

I love talking to the hex and blowing their mind. My fav has been my conversations with quincy about incarnon weapons. He goes into a full panic when he learns that your guns actually *eat* people.

Add onto the fact that their gear is so much more overpowered and weird than anything that the Hex has, like, "Yes I'm just using this gun, which is is actually the arm that was ripped off of a hyper-adaptive being called a Sentient, and my melee wepon is a glaive that was infected and mutated by the far more advanced version of what is causing the world to go to hell. Also this book that i have shoots lightning. And by the way, the metal body that i piloting can just casually create antimatter."

I feel like a lot of folks are missing the part where all the deep conversations take place over the course of a *full year* in the game, if not multiple years. If you’ve been playing since the release, from the Drifter & Hex’s POV, they’ve been doing this for 3 years now (each week is 3 months worth of time).

Yes, it’s sped-up cause doing that in real time is infeasible, but it’s not like they’re just opening up to us out of nowhere. We’re building a friendship/relationship with these people over MONTHS & YEARS.

It’s actually explored with quite a few of them via messages.

They all wonder about what exactly they’ve become, and you get to explain to them they are essentially the prototypes for the warframes you use.

You ALSO explain to them that the warframes were also people, once. It’s just that they were brutally tortured and mutated.

Viktor wasn't trying to nuke Holvania, he just refused to believe in the Y2K bug that would cause the local nuclear power plant to meltdown (among also disbelieving in stuff like acid rain).

Amir wasn't a part of the ICR. He was an intern at the nuclear plant who was persuaded by Entrati to give him info about the nuke because he was convinced the fate of the world relied on it. Then ORO sent to Scaldra to kill him for doing so, which Entrati gave Amir the vial and told him to use it if he ended up in danger. Arthur was there to find Amir as he was changing and Amir fucked him up so badly that a lot of Arthur's scars are from Amir basically electrocuting him.

Amir has such an unfair backstory 🥲 and I'm pretty sure Entrati himself ratted him out to ORO and set everything else in motion

If you've played questline correctly we basically take on the role as their lotus/Tenshin comforting them and showing them their true potential as well as how to properly utilize their abilities.

Entrati's downfall is one of the most horrifying self-fulfilling prophecy stories of all time imo. Like the cosmic horror of the existance of The Void let alone The Man in The Wall fucking terrifies me to my core dude.
