Geeat vid! Ive been doing this as a hobby for 2-3 years and so many things clicked watching your vid. My personal experience Is I am bedroom artist and learn all My knowledge from yt in starting I kind of have a fear I think my vocals and things get squashed from compressing when video lecturer said having minus 5 db and even more but later on listening on artists like Kendrick Lamar I got confidence now I use and like to compress with pro MB 1176 and r vox

What about triggering based on frequency range? With different settings for different frequency ranges? But not from a multiband, but from a standard compressor?
