One tip i recommend:

When you are sheriff and shooting from a distance (not with a crowd of people) you should get into the habit of un-equipting your gun right after you shoot because, let’s say the murderer is chasing after a crowd of people and hears the gunshot and turns around to see who shot it; if they turn around and see you without the gun after you shoot, they are less likely to know you’re sheriff and wont target you. If you were to just keep your gun out after your shot and the murderer turns around and sees you, they will know you have the gun just by simply seeing it in your hand. This trick isn’t always guaranteed to work because sometimes there are ppl who are smart, but it definitely works on some murderers. (it also sometimes prevents random innocents from following you around because they know you’re armed)

One of my favourite tips as sherif is when u get the role, hide until the murderer kills someone- I don’t mean hide as in hide and seek hide I mean hiding behind a wall that’s close to a huge group of ppl the murder will most likely target, for example in house 2 if I get sherif I sit behind the sofas- I can see everyone else who r almost always in the hall where the murder almost always starts their first kill but they can’t see me and I don’t become a likely early kill it also means u can see who the murderer is without them knowing and u can figure out where to go ti shoot them and I’ve also found it really handy in shooting the murdere from behind since they always move forward without noticing u etc, other examples can be hiding outside in mill base behind the crates, standing on top of the van in factory and there’s loads more the point is u as sherif can know who the murdere is before the murderer knows that u r the sherif and this is a very big advantage! Again this is my opinion and it normally works so well!

Another quick tip: It wont work for everyone but when someone is spam jumping
try aiming at their head so if they jump you also might hit their feet. Again, This wont
always work and they have to be jumping in a straight line but I still hope it helped!!

to be honest using headphones is a big advantage for both roles, predicting where to shoot as sheriff and hearing where people are as murderer (listening to footsteps). i love your tips thank youu :>

a tip for both as murd and sherrif:

never walk in a straight line always move around but don't spam jump because if you walk in only one direction it will be easy for the murd/sherrif to kill you specially if they're behind you

Another tip: Don't use flaming knife effect. It can give you disadvantages (by disadvantages I mean that if you stab someone, a fire sound comes and then the sheriff can see that you are using the flaming knife so they will most likely shoot you. You can even hear it while using ninja.)

I actually used the first tip, it helped because usually when I used to pull out the gun the murderer spam jumped, and now when I’m sheriff I don’t pull out the gun and when I see who the murderer is I lead them to a long hallway and they won’t be spam jumping and just walking straight so I can easily shoot them, I also bought haste and it really helped. Thanks for the tips. ✌🏿
