CB750 (attempted) DUAL CARBURETOR conversion -My Experience-

Getting the 1981 honda cb750 to run nicely with dual carburetors what I tried and ultimately what worked for me. For those experimenting hopefully this helps...

THE SLOW JETS were the culprit. For anybody watching this, I was able to get it to run flawlessly off pod filters with no restrictors or air box eventually. The problem was the slow jets. The Jets underneath the rubber plugs inside your carburetor when you pull off your float bowl. They have a tiny, tiny, tiny orifice that needs to be cleaned. After you clean that the rubber plugs need to be reinstalled. Those are what allows fuel from the pilot jet circuit into the fuel mixture screw circuit. They are all connected together. Good imfo ! I'm thinking about doing the same to my 83 750 maxim, I'll try bigger carbs, don't think of it as waisting time the whole point of fixing this old bikes is to have fun getting them running again

Were you able to get the bike running? I think I saw another vid were you made a new airbox.
