Your other children know about cdls, but they see more their little sissy than the syndrom. I love my little sissy very much, I think more than my older brother. It is a special relation with a little sister. You always want to protect her...silbings are the best! I could'nt imagine a live without them...

I just wanted to say hi from Ohio! I have six kids and dealt with a little bit of early intervention and whatnot with my second child. He was born early and had delays. Not a congenital issue but more like Autism spectrum. He's almost 20 now. Anyhow, the first video I saw of yours was the one about Freya's birth and I got to the part where you kissed her and sent her to the NICU before I was needed elsewhere lol. Now YouTube has suggested this video for me. You know, I was kind of expecting Freya to be quite um... How do I say... Drastically different in appearance since you said she had serious issues. But WOW she is absolutely beautiful! She looks like you! She may be at a 9 month old level but she is smart. I can tell. I love how strong and independent she is! Her left arm is the one affected and she chooses not to go the easy route, she is left side dominant... I think she is going to shock the world with how far she comes. I have a hard time putting my thoughts into words. I hope you don't take this as offensive. It is not supposed to be. And you as a mother... Letting the world see not only your struggles but also allowing us to meet and get to know your family. I just love it. I will subscribe. Maybe you should contact SBSK (a YouTube channel) and do an interview with Chris. Freya would gain so many new friends that way!

My niece had a mutation. She needed he spleen removed. She had survivor rate till 7 years. She's 40. Kids, married, healthy. Well. Don't let them tell you what her capabilities are. These kids are amazing.

I have a one year old son with an extremely rare genetic disorder (less than 250 cases ever reported), and in his genome sequencing results, it actually turns out we are both carriers for CDLS! Our babies are so so incredible, and there’s something about being a parent to a medically-complex child that you can’t truly understand unless you have been through it. My son is 100% g-tube fed, he has multiple therapists everyday of the week, and we have appointments at different hospitals and institutions almost weekly, if not more than one a week. But the funny thing is, i wouldn’t change ONE thing. Not ONE. Life is GOOD with our babies! We are so blessed. Your family is beautiful.💗
