A Rhea Gets a Leg Splint | Critter Fixers: Country Vets

For the first time at Critter Fixers a Rhea, a relative of the Ostrich and Emu, is brought because it has a gravely injured leg. Doctors Ferguson and Hodges must create a one of a kind splint in order to save this bird's life.

These Vets are amazing as is the rest of the staff. Love what they do to help animals.

These vets could do comedy. But they are so inventive, and it’s so apparent that each animal in their care is as important as if it were their own. Plus they do all of this with big smiles and belly laughs. They set the standard for health care with animals.

Every time I see a Rhea I always think of Kevin from the Urban rescue ranch XD
