4. A multinational state is made up of two or more different nations that have agreed to coexist as one state, while maintaining their cultural heritage. A multistate nation is a nation that does have a home state and is also located in other states in the region or around the world.
5. Power and control. Autonomous regions have a higher degree of self-governance compared to semi-autonomous regions. Semi-autonomous regions will see the national state interfere more in their day to day lives, compared to autonomous regions which are often left alone.

I appreciate you for helping other because sometimes the tree teachers in AP human geography are very bad at teaching they just bluff and do not explain in details. Got my unit 4 exam (MCQ, FRQ’s are tomorrow) in two days, and my first semester grade is relying on this, as well as my relationship with my mom because parent teacher conferences are soon, so I’ll come back in two days to inform you all whether or not my life is in shambles
Edit: got a 36/55 on the MCQ, but the class average was so bad our teacher let us do corrections, and I ended up with an 82%

Multi state nation is a nation/culture spread across multiple states. Autonomous region can govern themselves in a sense and have some power, but semi autonomous have barely any power and the government can decide what to do with them.

I think you missed an important point on state sovereignty. A state may have the right to govern its internal affairs but that does not mean that international relations with other states may be changed by the action of a state because of its internal affairs. China, Iran, North Korea, etc. come to mind for human rights violations.
