Ametherm's glass-encapsulated NTC thermistors for HVAC, medical, and automotive applications are hermetically sealed and eliminate resistance reading errors caused by moisture penetration. They function efficiently in extreme temperatures and under environmental conditions and stress.

The DG Series of glass-encapsulated NTC thermistors are free of limitations because of solder temperature, enabling them to offer a wide temperature range. And the small size allows for encapsulation in a variety of housings, such as ring lugs and hex nuts.

Greater accuracy and a faster response makes them an efficient and cost-effective alternative to RTD probes and thermocouples. Industrial applications might include monitoring battery pack terminal temperature while in a charge state. Medical applications include those that rely on airflow, such as respirators.

I've been search for a thermistor like this which has a glass head diameter no larger than 0.8mm. 100K Ohm, 3950, +/-1%. I know someone makes them because I've found them inside kitchen needle thermometers. The "Taylor" ones are one example. At that size they have a much better temperature change lag when encased in a thermowell. Do you have anything like I'm describing? Thanks.
