It crazy how much this game was held back by its console generation. It ran at 30 fps and below 720p on the most powerful consoles at the time. Finally after 17 years this game can be played in its full glory.

In my opinion this is the best Sonic game Sega ever produced. This game has a unique feeling no other Sonic game has. It brings back good memories. I still remember when I first saw this trailer 5 years ago when I was 11 and started spazzing out cause I thought Endless Possibilities was the best song of all time X)

There’s SO MANY arguments in the comments. A lot of people were hating on this game mainly because of the inclusion of the werehog. Some people said Sonic should be a 2D series only.

THIS SONG BRINGS BACK SOME MEMORIES. I would just watch this as a kid and I remember my mind being FUCKING BLOWN. I thought that there was nothing cooler than this game. I remember being a little iffy on seeing the werehog (with good reason) but man I've watched this trailer over and over again.

Almost 17 years later, this song still gets me out of any low point of life. The amount of optimism it gives me is simply amazing.
Please Sega, make a remaster. I'm almost 22 years old, and I would love to feel like a kid again playing this game.

The demo for this felt so fun to play. Fast paced, gorgeous backgrounds, nice looking blur, and some classic sidescrolling in addition to very free-feeling speed sections of the course.
I haven't play as a werewolf yet, but it looks like the game has tons of variety in gameplay and nice looking cutscenes.
Can't wait to get this.

The theme song blasting in my ears, the choppy frame rate, the "HD" 720p footage, the beta version of the game being shown... I remember seeing this for the first time and going absolutely nuts over it. Then coming back from school everyday to check up on the official website to see if there were any new updates... Good times man
