Brazilian here, this burning dollar picture is fake. But the next BRICS presidency and reunion will be in Brazil, and knowing how Brazilian foreign policy works, it will not work against good relations with American markets. I imagine that Brazil will try to build an economic bridge between BRICS and the US, and of course profiting as from it's mediator role.

With all of the west's sanctions it makes sense for Eastern countries to want a stand alone efficient cheap and quick financial system that the US in particular cannot take control of. I really hope its xrp and Brics stockpiles it in the billions. AND YES I HOLD XRP!

Even with a federal debt of $36 trillion, the U.S. and its dollar is by far the best currency in the world and there simply is no good alternative. Perhaps, gold could be the world's reserve currency but has significant limitations. Or countries simply use XRP as if it is a reserve currency.
