Leica TS16 EDM is a more and more common instrument on sites and in today’s video I am showing the Leica interface - Leica captivate software and going through basic settings. It’s the first video covering TS16 so if you’re interested how site setting out engineers use the total station on site and what’s the most important programs for us using the surveying equipment you found the best place for it!
TS16 Robotic total station is way too good equipment for construction site, but as there is a lot of money in the industry more companies are starting to use it.
TBH we probably need max. 20% of its great possibilities to get our job done right (RC frames)
Whatever it is, it’s good to know how TS16 looks and works and add it to your skills as
this will definitely open the doors for more projects e.g. Hinkley point C.

Hi, love your videos. I’ve recently purchased a TS15, when I level the instrument to 0.0006 and 0.0008 for example, I then turn the instrument to make sure it’s totally level at 360 degrees, it comes back with something like 0.0052 and 0.0023 for example. I’ve even put a boat level on the tripod, to try and counter this. Have you got any advice, on how to stop this occurring?

Yo man, TS16 got reseted abd everything went to default....so all the strings aand their attribute i use to do pickups in underground tunnels ...is now having only one string for istbace Str1 with red colour no matter tye string number i choose to measure. Can you be a help
